Timing Rejuran before a wedding or event
The most common planning mistake before an event is treating too close to the date. Temporary redness, swelling or bruising need time to settle, and some changes develop gradually, so ask the clinic how many weeks before the date Rejuran is usually scheduled and why. Avoid trying a treatment for the first time right before the event; if you have never had Rejuran, a trial well in advance tells you how your skin responds.
At Min Clinic every treatment is performed by a doctor, including laser treatments such as Ultherapy and miraDry, and injectables such as fillers and botulinum toxin.
While you are still researching Rejuran
At this stage the goal is to understand what Rejuran is and is not, not to choose a clinic. Look for the device or product name, what it is cleared or approved for, and the state of the evidence, and treat anything that sounds like a promised result with caution. Write down the two or three questions about Rejuran you most want answered, so that a consultation becomes a check of what you have read rather than a sales conversation.
A 2025 systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology examined 9 studies covering 219 patients and rated the quality of the included studies as low to moderate. Injection sites and techniques also varied between studies.
A polynucleotide (PN) product. Purified nucleotide chains derived from fish DNA, typically salmon, are injected into the dermis.
Disclose these before treatment
Each of the following changes whether treatment is appropriate or how it is delivered. If nobody asks, say so anyway.
- Pregnancy, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
- Current medication, particularly anticoagulants, isotretinoin and immunosuppressants
- Inflammation, infection, open wounds or active acne in the treatment area
- Implanted devices: pacemakers, defibrillators, and metal or filler in the treatment area
- Previous treatments to the same area, especially fillers, threads and surgery
- Allergy to fish, to anaesthetics, or to injectable products
- A tendency to keloid scarring or to post-inflammatory pigmentation
- Any other injectable treatment recently, and how long ago
Questions people ask
How far before the event should I have Rejuran?
It depends on the treatment and on how your skin reacts, so ask the clinic for their reasoning in weeks, and leave time for a check-up before the date.
Can I combine several treatments before the event?
Combining treatments changes recovery time. Ask whether they would be done together or spaced out, and what the clinic would leave out if the timeline is tight.
Where can I check what Rejuran is actually cleared for?
Regulators publish clearance and approval records, and the wording matters: a clearance names specific uses. A use outside that wording is not necessarily wrong, but it should be described honestly.
What should I be wary of when reading about Rejuran?
Promises of a particular result, one person’s outcome presented as typical, and prices quoted without the conditions behind them. None of these tell you how the treatment would go for you.
How do I reach Min Clinic if something comes up once I am home?
WhatsApp is answered between 09:00 and 19:00 Korea time, usually immediately or within about ten minutes. The clinic is closed on public holidays but still replies to messages left then. Keeping your treatment record to hand makes a message from abroad quicker to answer.
