What Rejuran Is—and Why the Evidence Matters
Rejuran is an injectable treatment containing polynucleotides, or PN. The product is injected into the skin to support improvements in fine lines, skin texture and elasticity.
A 2025 systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology included nine studies involving 219 patients. The studies were rated as low to moderate quality and used different injection areas and techniques. The review reported promising findings but noted that there was no consensus on an optimal protocol and that higher-quality research was still needed.
This evidence concerns PN treatments more broadly. It should not be presented as direct proof that a particular Rejuran product will produce a guaranteed result for every patient.
When comparing clinics, be cautious of promises of a specific outcome or claims that treatment effects are guaranteed. A doctor should first assess the patient’s skin condition and explain whether Rejuran is appropriate.
Rejuran Products Used at Min Clinic

Rejuran Classic
Rejuran Classic is a PN-based product used for concerns involving the overall face, including fine lines, skin texture and elasticity.

How Min Clinic Plans and Performs Rejuran
Doctor-performed hand injections
At Min Clinic, Rejuran is injected by hand by a doctor rather than administered through an automatic injector device.
The doctor determines the injection areas, depth, spacing and volume according to the patient’s skin condition and treatment plan.
Medical aesthetic procedures are performed by a doctor. Skincare treatments are provided separately.
Skin analysis and consultation
A senior consultation manager conducts the initial consultation and an EVE V MUSE skin analysis. The doctor then evaluates the patient’s skin and discusses the appropriate product, volume and treatment area.
The skin-analysis results support the consultation but do not automatically determine the treatment plan. The final medical assessment and injection design are completed by the doctor.
A consultation and skin-analysis fee of KRW 50,000 applies. If a medical aesthetic treatment is performed on the same day, this amount is deducted from the treatment fee.
Patients may attend a consultation without committing to treatment. Same-day treatment may be available depending on the clinic’s schedule and the doctor’s assessment.
Recommended sessions and intervals
The appropriate number of treatments depends on the patient’s skin condition and goals.
Min Clinic’s general guidance is:
* For a single maintenance treatment: approximately 12 weeks between sessions * For intensive care: three treatments at approximately two-week intervals
These are general clinic guidelines rather than fixed schedules. The doctor determines the appropriate treatment plan after evaluating the patient.
A three-session course should not be described as being performed at three- to four-week intervals in Min Clinic content.
Product Authenticity
Authentic Rejuran products are shown to the patient and opened in front of them before treatment. Rejuran authenticity certificates are also displayed at the clinic.
When comparing clinics, patients may ask:

Authentication methods differ among products and medical devices. Rejuran should not be described using the BioTip, shot-count, hologram or device-screen verification processes associated with other treatments.

Effects and Recovery
When changes may become noticeable
Patients may begin to notice changes approximately one to two weeks after treatment.
The duration varies according to the product used, treatment area, individual skin condition and treatment plan. Min Clinic generally advises that changes may last approximately three to six months, although individual results vary.
These periods are general references and should not be presented as guaranteed outcomes.
Injection bumps and marks
Small raised bumps or injection marks may remain for approximately three days. For some patients, they may take up to approximately one week to settle.
Do not rub or press the treated areas unnecessarily while the injection bumps are present.
Redness, swelling and tenderness
Temporary redness, mild swelling and tenderness usually improve within several days. In some patients, they may remain for approximately one week.
Bruising
Bruising may occur at injection sites. If it develops, it may take approximately one to two weeks to improve.
Because recovery varies, patients preparing for a wedding, photo shoot or another important event should allow enough time for injection bumps, redness, swelling or bruising to settle.
Avoid receiving Rejuran for the first time immediately before an important event.
Daily Activities After Rejuran
Washing and makeup
Washing the face and applying makeup are generally possible from the day after treatment.
Avoid strong rubbing, exfoliation or irritating products while the skin is recovering.
Exercise and sauna
Intense exercise and sauna use should generally be avoided for at least three days after treatment.
Flying
Same-day air travel may be possible if there are no unusual symptoms. Patients should follow any additional guidance provided by the doctor.
When to contact the clinic
Temporary pain, injection bumps, redness, swelling, bruising, itching and tenderness may occur.
Contact the clinic if symptoms are severe, continue to worsen or do not improve as expected. Important adverse reactions may include persistent nodules or firmness, inflammation, infection, discoloration, herpes reactivation or an allergic reaction.
