Treatment may involve 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm transducers. The appropriate depths and shot allocation are determined individually rather than applying the same pattern to every patient.

The treatment process includes cleansing, skin analysis, exfoliation, topical anesthetic cream, local anesthesia, the Ultherapy PRIME procedure, and a soothing mask. An oral analgesic may also be used when appropriate, depending on the patient’s condition and sensitivity to discomfort. Sedation anesthesia is not provided.

The procedure itself may take approximately 30 minutes, or around 60 minutes when anesthesia and preparation are included. These times are estimates and may vary according to the treatment area and individual plan.

Ultherapy PRIME pricing is based on the number of shots. A small single area may begin at 100 shots, while broader plans may involve approximately 300 shots for a partial area, 400 shots for V-line contouring, 600 shots for the full face, or 800 or more shots for the face and neck. The final number and distribution of shots are determined after consultation.

During treatment, patients can view the real-time shot count on the device screen. The final shot count can also be checked after treatment.

Pain management and included services

Pain management at Min Clinic includes topical anesthetic cream and local anesthesia. An oral analgesic may also be used when appropriate.

The standard treatment process includes:

Many patients return to their regular daily activities after Ultherapy PRIME. Gentle cleansing and light makeup are generally possible on the same day when there is no skin injury or unusual reaction. Flying is also generally possible on the day of treatment if no unusual symptoms occur.

Possible temporary reactions include:

Screening and safety

Tell the clinic about your medical history, medications, previous treatments, implants, fillers, threads, and any current skin conditions before treatment.

Ultherapy PRIME may not be suitable when there is an open wound or active lesion in the treatment area or an active implanted medical device such as a pacemaker. A same-day injectable treatment in the planned treatment area may also affect whether Ultherapy PRIME can proceed.
