Your first ONDA in your 20s: comparing Cheongdam clinics

This page is for someone in their twenties considering ONDA for the first time. You are down to choosing where to go. At Min Clinic, a doctor performs ONDA, and pricing is based on the energy delivered: 40kJ to 100kJ on the face and 100kJ to 300kJ on the body, with one session recommended. When you compare ONDA clinics in Cheongdam, Gangnam, look at the price lists last. First, match the conditions: the same device generation, a quoted price based on the same dose, and whether the doctor performs the treatment. If those differ, the two prices are not comparable numbers.

If this would be your first ONDA treatment

A first treatment is mostly calibration. You do not yet know how your skin responds, how much discomfort you tolerate or how long redness lasts on you, so a first plan for ONDA is reasonably a conservative one that can be adjusted later. In your twenties the more useful question is often whether ONDA is needed now at all, or whether skin care and sun protection answer the concern for the moment. A consultation that ends with "not yet" is a legitimate outcome, not a wasted visit.

A patient coordinator sees you first, and the doctor follows. Skin is assessed with an EVE V MUSE analyser.

Choosing a clinic for ONDA

When you are down to a shortlist, compare the same things at each clinic: which device or product is used and how its authenticity is shown, who performs ONDA, what the plan is based on, and what a quoted price includes. Ask each clinic the same questions in the same order. Differences in how they answer about ONDA are more informative than differences in their advertising.

Products are opened in front of the patient, with the authenticity sticker and hologram shown at the same time. The shot count on the device screen is visible to the patient, and the manufacturer’s certificates of authenticity are displayed in the clinic.

Min Clinic practises across family medicine, internal medicine, plastic surgery and dermatology. Three doctors practise here, two of them board-certified specialists.

Procedures ONDA is usually weighed against

Different mechanisms suit different people. This is not a table of which is better — it separates which is a candidate for which goal.

Questions people ask

Am I too young for ONDA?

Age alone does not decide it. What matters is whether the concern you describe matches what ONDA is designed to address, and a doctor can only judge that after seeing your skin. Asking about alternatives, including waiting, is a normal part of that conversation.

What should I tell the clinic on a first visit?

That this is your first treatment of this kind, any reactions you have had to products or procedures before, and what exactly you want changed. The clearer the concern, the easier it is to tell whether ONDA fits it.

Should the doctor perform ONDA personally?

Ask directly who performs the treatment and who decides the settings. Clinics differ, and knowing the answer before booking avoids a surprise on the day.

How do I compare quotes for ONDA?

Line up the dose or amount, the areas, the device generation, anaesthesia and aftercare. Two quotes are only comparable when those match.

Is a newer ONDA device always the better choice?

Not automatically. A newer generation can mean added features and a wider cleared range, and it can also mean a clinic that has used it less. What is worth comparing is whether the clinic can say what its generation does differently for ONDA specifically, and why that matters for you.
